How to Prevent Rhinestones from Falling Off

What to do when the rhinestones on your cell phone case or jewelry are starting to loosen up?

Your options:

  1. Clear Nail Polish
  2. Mod Podge (Glossy kind) and a disposable sponge

Apply a thin coat of clear nail polish over the rhinestones or put a small amount of Mod Podge on to a disposable sponge and gently dab the surface of the gems. Make sure the nail polish or the Mod Podge is dry before wear. In the case the rhinestones have already fallen off; use Superglue or a glue gun to stick the little guys back on.

Why Product Reviews are Important

Does one opinion really count? The answer is yes!  A company can advertise from today to tomorrow, but that is never going to be as powerful as a customer’s word-of-mouth. Reviews essentially sell the product for the company, because consumers are much more likely to buy products if others vouch for them, therefore, knowing how to write a good product review that is helpful and benefits others, is key.

Before writing a product review, make sure you have received the order first so that you know what you are reviewing. Sometimes it can happen that you might get frustrated when your order does not arrive on time or you receive the wrong product. Therefore, first things first, contact customer service and try to resolve any issues you might have with the order before posting anything. Do not vent out your frustration on the review sites before trying to resolve your shipment issues first. Do realize every company, even the biggest and most reputable, will have orders that will have complications and mix-ups. You can always leave your email, or order number, or name and last name on your review so that the company can reach out to you and resolve any problems that might not have been resolved.

Try to write about the product in an unbiased point-of-view. For example if you do not like the color of the product, say “this color does not suit me” instead of “what an awful color”.  A good product review consists of details. Point out the features that you think are good and explain why you like them. Likewise, if you think a feature is poor, explain why you think so. Remember, not every item you buy will suit you perfectly, and just because it is not your cup of tea, does not mean it is not somebody else’s.

Leave constructive product reviews. For example, do not leave a review that says “It’s good” or “It’s bad”. People tend to find these types of reviews not too helpful. Explain why a product is good or why it is bad and what you like or do not like about it. This gives the person looking to purchase the product an insight of what his/ her experience might be like and what he/she should expect.

An ideal review should be consistent with the rating it is given. Ratings should be based on the overall quality. If in the review you state the product “is perfect” but leave a rating of three, you will have shoppers confused. Same if you give a product a rating of four but leave no reason why, you will leave people wondering, why it wasn’t rated a five?

Feel free to leave suggestions as to where a company can improve their products or services. Companies value your feedback and want to make sure your experience is as pleasant as possible. Happy shopping and always remember to let us know about your experiences!

Never run out of power again!

I was going through our inventory recently and came across this fascinating Extended Battery Case which comes in seven colors. I decided to make a review on this product and share my thoughts. Firstly, being an iPhone owner, I know how obsessed I am with my phone and how many hours I spend going through all the apps, videos, and music. There are “hard core” users, and then there are real hard core users like me that drain the battery faster than anyone. It is those crucial times that I actually need the phone to have enough battery life to last through an important phone call or keep me entertained while I sit on a three hour train ride that I begin to realize how badly I need a travel outlet. Imagine how excited I was to see this neat piece in my hands. In a nutshell, you charge this case ahead of time (with or without the iPhone in it), and whenever your phone is low on battery you turn the switch on in the bottom of the case and it will charge your phone. On the back you press a little black button and you can see how much power is left in the case. The case is ultra slim and isn’t very bulky and the feel of the case is smooth and nice to the touch. My only dislike is the buttons on the side that are exposed. Some people like it. I personally like it covered up. The case is very nice. It is more useful than you can imagine. It’s like having a spare battery wherever you go without having to worry that your phone will die on you.

For those of you who like your cases and do not want to switch to another case, All4Cellular carries other products that allow you to have a backup battery on the go. There’s the Ultrapower Stitchway Backup Charger which connects straight to your phone. It is a bit big, but it can fit into most bag pocket with ease. Another option is the Power Bank Lipstick Backup Charger. It is a port that will charge any USB. It is smaller. It’s the size of a lipstick. Both the stitchway and the lipstick backup come in different colors for all you self-expressers who like to have a splash of color.

iPhone Charger Too Short?

A common problem I’m sure you come across often is short plug cords. For instance, my blender at home has a cord that is less than a foot long and every time that I want to blend something I need to make sure to stand near the wall and have enough space near the plug to put my appliance. It can get extremely annoying and every time I encounter this issue, “Is it really that hard for the company to make the cord a tiny bit longer?” goes through my head. The worst offenders are the cell phone chargers. Some chargers don’t even reach my ear when they are plugged into the wall and, like an idiot, I have to stand bent over as I talk to the person on the line.

Thankfully, your prayers have been answered and there is a great solution for you iPhone owners! (And soon for other phones.) It’s a 6 foot USB cable! Besides for coming in ten fun, attractive colors, you can actually move around a lot more freely as your phone charges and you are no longer tied down to the wall.

Never underestimate the freedom of mobility. It should not have to be a luxury.

Fix Broken Touch Screen Yourself

For a while I was walking around with a broken phone screen until I decided enough was enough. My phone was still usable, but the screen was hard to read. I didn’t feel it was worth the money to get the screen fixed for nearly the price of getting a brand new phone. There were a few options out there. For instance some people send their phones for repairs to outside companies that claim to fix it for less than the original company’s repair price, however, many are still expensive and some have horrible reputations. In general there are some things to be aware of when sending a phone off to an unknown company. There are some fraudulent companies out there that take your phone and don’t send it back or claim it was lost in the mail, some have expensive parts inside the phone replaced for refurbished parts, or claim you need more repairs than you actually do. I suggest you know what company you are dealing with before trusting your phone to anyone.

The best option you have out there is to buy a do-it-yourself kit and replace it yourself in no time. It is cheaper, you don’t have to take any risks sending your phone away, and you will learn a thing or two about technology. I personally have very little, if any experience when it comes to technology (I confess, I even had to google the word “Digitizer”, which is the replacement screen word). Bracing myself, I gathered my broken phone, the replacement digitizer, and a tool kit and sat myself in front of the computer. Then, I found a useful YouTube tutorial and followed the step by step directions and had my phone looking as good as new within 30 minutes!

You can get amazing deals on the Digitizer screen replacement kits on all4cellular.com. Keep in mind though, that screen digitizers aren’t only for phones. There are digitizers for tablets, laptops, gameboys and pretty much any device that has a touch screen.

Most people have never heard of digitizer screens. If you haven’t, now you have. You have no excuses to walk around with that embarrassing cracked screen anymore! Now go get that fixed!
